Why this yard
Two lines, two different arguments
Topsoil and concrete are two different sales in this market, and the honest case for each is a different case. Both are below.
Topsoil · the open field
Screened for reclamation, not for lawns
Strip the top eight inches off a five to seven acre pad and you have put north of five thousand cubic yards of soil on a stockpile. Operators are required to reserve their own and put it back, so what gets bought is the shortfall, and the shortfall is what nobody here is set up to cover. Search screened topsoil in this part of the state and you get national brokers quoting garden soil by the yard. Not one of them will give you a salinity number.

Concrete has roughly a 90-minute window between batching and placement, so it is always a local product. But being close is not the argument here, because Knife River runs ready-mix and aggregate in New Town too. We have to earn it on four things you can check.

Concrete Removal and Haul-Off
Demolition concrete taken off your site. It comes back to New Town, goes through the crusher, and returns to the market as base material instead of going to a landfill.
Removal is priced as its own job. Ask about it on any project that is taking out slab, foundation or pavement.
Site Reclamation Supply
Screened topsoil delivered to well sites for reclamation and revegetation, in the volumes a full site takes rather than by the truckload.
Scheduling matters more than price on these. Bring us the closure date.

How far will you deliver ready-mix concrete?
Concrete has roughly a 90-minute window between batching and placement, so the radius is drive time rather than distance. Our plant is at New Town and we quote delivery within about an hour of it. Give us the site and the date and we will tell you plainly whether it is inside the window.
Do you supply material for work on the reservation?
Yes. Concrete Warrior LLC is a licensed contractor with the MHA Nation.
How do I place an order?
Orders are taken by phone and quotes go back out by email. Send the material, the quantity, where it is going and the date you need it to quotes@concretewarriorsupply.com.
Can you supply topsoil for a full well site reclamation?
Yes. Site reclamation is the largest single thing we screen for, and full-site volumes are the normal order rather than the exception. Bring us the closure date rather than the load count, because scheduling decides these jobs more often than price does.
What areas do you serve?
The yard is at New Town, and we supply the Fort Berthold Reservation and the surrounding counties: Mountrail, McKenzie, Dunn and Williams. If your site sits outside that, ring us anyway. Haul distance decides it, not a line on a map.
What do you need from me to quote a job?
Four things: the material, the quantity, where it is going, and the date you need it. With those we can price the job without a second email. If you are working to a closure or a pour date, lead with the date, because that is usually what decides whether we can take the job.
Will you take concrete off a demolition site?
Yes. We haul demolition concrete back to New Town, run it through the crusher and put it back into the market as base material. It is priced as its own job, separate from anything you buy from us.
What do you supply?
Reclamation Topsoil, Ready-Mix Concrete, Crushed Concrete, Road Gravel, Scoria, Class 5 Base, Class 13 Base and Washed Rock, all of it produced at our yard on ND-23 at New Town. The pit, the crusher, the trommel screen and the batch plant are on one site, so a job that needs more than one material does not need a second supplier in the middle of it.
Do you carry Class 5 and Class 13 base?
Both. Class 5 is the graded base course and Class 13 the coarse, each to NDDOT Section 816.
What are your hours?
The yard is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Sunday closed. Hours move with the season here, so on a long drive it is worth ringing the yard first on (701) 580-3207.
